Membership

We invite you to join or renew your membership with the NCSHP! Memberships run on a yearly schedule from July 1st through June 31st.

What type of organization is the NCSHP?

The NCSHP is a statewide non-profit, 501 (c)(3) federal income tax exempt organization under section 501 (a) of the IRS, which promotes the education among Hispanic youths at all levels: ALL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE NCSHP ARE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.

How does it operate?

NCSHP derives its support from grants, corporate sponsorships, contributions, donations, and membership fees. All of NCSHP work is done on a volunteer basis. To keep the network alive and to serve programs which look to us for assistance, your help is greatly needed. As an NCSHP member, you will receive the Newsletter Promoviendo Juntos, an educational bulletin with information about NCSHP activities and events. You will become part of a growing network of Hispanic professionals in the state of North Carolina.

What do you get with your membership?

Not only will you be in the loop with all other NCSHP members, but you will also be made aware of some wonderful opportunities. At the bottom of the Membership Application Form are some of the volunteer opportunities that will open up to you. You will be welcomed into our Inspirational Speaker Group, any of our conference planning committees, our Mentoring Program and much more.

A few of the benefits accruing to the members of the North Carolina Society of Hispanic Professionals include:

• Members of the Society have a unique opportunity to express those noble desires found in individuals who want to make a practical contribution to promote education among Hispanic youth in North Carolina.
• Members of the Society have the opportunity to participate in an admirable movement that is helping Hispanic youth in North Carolina to achieve their highest dreams through education.
